Good day again everyone and welcome to another edition of the “Weekender Blog,” as always brought to you by the real estate professionals at the Oldfather Group of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty.

We hope everyone got out last weekend and enjoyed the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival and Bridgeville’s Apple Scrapple Festival, two of the greatest annual events our area has to offer.

As for this week, we are, admittedly, in a bit of a lull this weekend. We’re sandwiched in between all of the excitement of last week and another busy weekend on deck, when the Sea Witch Halloween and Fiddler’s Festival takes center stage in coastal Delaware.

But there are, as with any weekend in the fall, some great events scheduled for the next few days, most notably the Boo-B-Que By The Sea event at Delaware Seashore State Park.

But as this weekend is not as busy as most this fall season, we’re also taking you across the state line this week and into Ocean City, where the resort has a fun pet-friendly event planned for this third weekend of October.

So if you feel like dressing up in your best Halloween costume, or have a pet you’d like to show off to the masses, plan on a trip this weekend to nearby Ocean City.

And speaking of Halloween, we’re also reminding you in this edition of the “Weekender Blog” about some of the great and spooky attractions we have right here in our local area. We highlighted some of these in a previous blog entry, but we’re going over them again in case you missed them.

Now, on to the business at hand. And that is, our picks for the weekend of Oct. 21-23 right here in beautiful coastal Delaware.
