With the Summer of 2016 inexplicably entering it’s final weeks, it’s time to really get out there and enjoy what’s left of the warm weather before it’s gone until next season.
With that in mind, there are some fantastic happenings coming up over the next few days here in coastal Delaware, and we’re here to tell you all about them in our weekly “Weekender Blog,” as always brought to you by the real estate professionals at the Oldfather Group of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty in Rehoboth Beach.
Just a shameless plug before we continue – if you’d like a personal tour of what’s available today in coastal Delaware’s real estate market, send us a message via our website or give us a ring at 302-260-2000. We’d love the chance to show you around and give you an example of what life at the Delaware beaches can really be like.
Now, on to the fun events coming up during the extended weekend of August 12-15 in coastal Delaware. We have seaside fun in Dewey Beach, sailing opportunities on “Delaware’s Tall Ship,” one of the most culturally diverse festivals of the season nearby in Seaford and a special 5K run to benefit an extremely worthwhile cause.
And those are just the annual events. As always between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there’s never a shortage of fun things to do at the beach.
Take the kids to Funland, enjoy some of our fantastic local restaurants, visit the Clayton Theater in Dagsboro, Delaware’s only remaining single screen movie house, or just enjoy a lazy day on the beach.
Whatever you choose to do, we hope you fully enjoy the final weeks of the Summer of 2016.
